Comic Art

Before I started working predominantly as a horror and poster illustrator, it was my dream job to draw for DC comics (like one of my art-heroes, Alex Ross). I never lost the comics bug, and in 2013 I got my chance to tackle my first full-length comic: Manborg: The Official Comic Book Sequel. A few years later, the bug came back even stronger, and I decided I wanted to create a new anthology comic series. I worked with Kostanski again, this time adding filmmakers Brandon Cronenberg, Jon Knautz, and Dave Alexander to the mix. What resulted was: The Gates of Misery.

I haven’t had the chance (or time) to return to comic art lately, but below I’ve included two of the short stories I illustrated for the first issue of GoM… along with a special Halloween edition I wrote and illustrated a couple years ago. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did drawing them.
